While the season is beginning to wind down, we are beginning to think about getting everything in place for next year. While we have a lot of wonderful parents that are already volunteering this year, we would like to extend an invitation to all parents and friends who would like to be part of this group so that we can continue to grow and accomodate needs. We WILL Survive!
Recently, our track was broken into and every single bike along with more than $600 in concessions were stolen. By the gracious help of a BMX family, we have recovered 4 of our bikes!!! If you have any information regarding the break in, please let us or the Fort Wayne Police Department know. We have a lot of kids that have truly enjoyed the ability to come out and ride the track and try out the race bikes we had. Please consider helping us in any way you can to get that back for the kids.
A Huge thank you to the Fort Wayne Police Department and Detectives Bureau for coming out and taking the time to file an extensive report, and providing outstanding follow up. We hope the investigation will turn up some great results!
If you or anyone you know have a bicycle they'd be willing to donate to the track, please contact Amy at 260-704-6651 or ride@frankeparkbmx.com
